Matcha? Matcha. Matcha! A Healthy Alternative to Coffee

Matcha? Essentially, it's ground green tea. Because it's more concentrated than steeped tea, the amount of caffeine is comparable to that of brewed coffee. However, consuming matcha provides greater health benefits. To name a few:

-High in antioxidants
-The amino acid, L-Theanine, enhances mood, memory, and concentration
-Boosts metabolism
-Catechins in Matcha Green Tea have antibiotic properties

AND SO MUCH MORE.

There are a lot of ways to incorporate Matcha into your meals or drinks, but this is the simplest and most delicious recipe I've made yet.

Ingredients:
1 tsp Matcha Green Tea powder (can be found at most grocery stores in the tea isle)
1 cup milk of choice (I prefer almond)
1 drop Vanilla Extract
optional 1/2 tsp Coconut Sugar

matcha powder & coconut sugar
Steph 1: Bring milk to a low boil, while continuously whisking

Step 2: Stir in Matcha powder, coconut sugar, and vanilla extract and keep whisking

Step 3: Whisk until frothing

Enjoy!
